Max Caufield is the main character of Life is Strange alongside Chloe. At some point, she manages to acquire the ability to manipulate time. Not unlimited, but large enough to be able to react differently to sudden, short-lived events. In addition, he has visions of the future – vague, yes, but definitely spelling doom for the entire city.
Among young players of the time, the game became a hit of similar magnitude as Riverdale or Sex Education for todays teens. What's more, it became a kind of phenomenon, for some time also recognizable outside the gaming community. All that because of groundbreaking gameplay – no other game proposed so amazing time-rewinding mechanics.
Life is Strange is not a title that could easily be transferred to the big screen. After all, how are viewers supposed to make key decisions? And how to decide when Max travels through time and when he doesn't? Our sense is that the only way this could work would be an experimental TV show. Slightly similar to the one we've already seen in one of the episodes of Black Mirror or the TV series Kaleidoscope. The emotional relationship between Chloe and Max should be perfectly conveyed by Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation).
