Mass Effect is a game that managed to revolutionize the industry – not only did it successfully combine RPG and shooter elements, but it also introduced a unique system of relations with the team members. The famous suicide mission from part two is pretty much ready-made Hollywood space opera.

There have been many ideas for a film adaptation. The creators, however, ultimately didn't agree on the content of the film, which would have to fit many complex threads into two hours tops. However, at the end of 2021, a desire to make a TV show based on the game was reported by Amazon. Its boss, Jeff Bezos, known for his love of space stories, was ready to create a big-budget show with that'd launch in 2024. For now, however, we still don't know if Mass Effect series will actually appear via Amazon.

However, since we have no details about the potential product, we can only speculate. Emily Blunt would do a great femshep, as she already did a fantastically together with Tom Cruise in another sci-fi film, Edge of Tomorrow. Maleshep could be played by Sam Worthington or Scott Eastwood. As the director, we'd go for Peyton Reed (Ant-Man and Mando) as he seems up for the challenge. And who would you see in a potential adaptation of BioWare's smash hit?
