  5. Is it a developer debut: no

Phantom Doctrine quite unexpectedly became one of the most interesting spy titles in 2018. The Polish studio CreativeForge Games placed the action of its production in an alternative version of the 80s, focusing on the conflict known as the Cold War.

In the first installment, the player commanded small units performing spy missions as a part of a secret organization called The Cabal. This time, we get a TPP game, and the action takes place in real-time. In addition, an active pause was introduced (in the turn-based system, for obvious reasons, it was not needed).

The game offers a completely different graphics design, and your agents travel all around the world (which is also noteworthy). Aside from dynamic espionage tasks, during which we can switch between agents, we are also responsible for managing the entire organization , i.e. we recruit, train, interrogate and even ... brainwash. This mix may easily succeed.
