- Acquiring souls and transferring them to Vulgrim. In exchange for the right number of souls, Vulgrim gives you one attribute point.
- By finding Luminous Visage items. Destroying such object gives you one attribute point.
Attribute points can be spent on improving one of the three main parameters - life, strength and magic. Below you will find all the information you need to help you develop your character.

Vulgrim
Vulgrim is an old friend of Fury from the previous parts of the Darksiders series. In exchange for the appropriate number of souls, you can get one attribute point. Each next point costs more and more souls, which means advancing to higher experience level will take you more and more time.
Vulgrim also runs a small shop where you can buy useful items such as shrapnels or weapon upgrades for an exorbitant price.
Luminous Visage
Luminous Visage are unique items that can be found in the process of exploring the game world. The chance to receive this object appears every time you find and pick-up an orange orb. After getting a Luminous Visage you need to go to your inventory and destroy the item. You'll receive one attribute point.
How to level up?
To get the next level, just talk to Vulgrim and select the first dialog option. Then press the button responsible for depositing souls. Keep in mind that with each level the requirements of Vulgrima grow, so you will have to provide him with more and more souls.
How to collect souls in Darksiders 3?
Souls can be acquired in three different ways:
- By eliminating opponents.
- By finding and destroying Lurcher Clumps - you can receive souls by investigating an orange orb symbolizing the found loot. Clusters vary in size and can contain from several tens to several thousand souls.
By finding blue dragon-like souls . They look like a cluster of souls left after the death of the heroine.
Attributes
Attributes determine the combat capabilities of your Hero. In Darksiders 3 you can assign attribute points to 3 categories:
- Life - by assigning points to this category, you increase the health pool of your character.
- Strength - by investing attribute points in strength, you increase the physical damage caused by your Hero.
- Magic - points invested in this category increase damage, e.g. after perfect dodging, as well as when staying in desolation form.
What to spend attribute points on?
Depending on which style of play you prefer, you should invest attribute points accordingly. If you want to deal large amounts of physical damage, allocate more points to strength. If you're looking for extra damage after dodging or while you're in the extra form of Fury, invest points in magic. Also, try to assign points to Life from time to time, in order to be able to take more damage.
Vulgrim sells Echo Mark, a crystal that allows you to reset attributes. You can use this method if you want to reassign attribute points.
