Can I retrieve my souls after dying in Darksiders 3? Darksiders 3 Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 30 August 2019
This section of Darksiders 3 guide will tell you whether it is possible to retrieve lost souls after dying, and how to avoid losing souls when defeated.
Fury loses all carried souls at the moment of her death. Fortunately, lost souls can be recovered - you simply need to return to the place where you died. After reaching the location, look for at a levitating blue cluster of souls - an exemplary cluster is shown in the attached screenshot. Attacking it with any weapon will return your lost souls.
you may also encounter clusters of blue souls in other places in the game world. Always try to reach them, as they can charge your counter with a few thousand souls.
You can protect yourself from losing your souls - there are two basic techniques. The first way involves transferring your amassed souls to Vulgrim. This is the best way if you're planning to spend souls on additional attribute points. Vulgrim can hold unlimited amount of souls.
The second way is to avoid premature destruction of Lurcher Clusters objects found in the form of loot. Each cluster can hold from several tens to even a few thousand souls. Destroy the clusters only after you return to Vulgrim and want to spend your souls on attribute points or items. Fury won't lose Lurcher Clusters when killed. They are completely safe until you decide to crush them.
