This chapter of the Call of Duty Cold War guide is dedicated to The Final Countdown mission. The Final Countdown is the final mission that sums up the entire campaign.

The mission consists entirely of open combat - do not spare any resources, especially at the beginning, because it will be quite tough. Your task will be to break into the anti-aircraft positions and destroy them. This will open the way for planes that will bomb the entire complex.

The mission begins in front of the Perseus base in a combat vehicle. You have a grenade launcher at your disposal - it shoots pretty quickly, so you should not have problems with clearing out the enemies. At this moment, prioritize eliminating all the turrets and, if possible, trucks by the road. You have to be quick: otherwise, you will be taken down by the soldiers on the towers.

Turrets and trucks are your priority

Move from cover to cover while on your way to the anti-aircraft batteries, because the enemy has an RPG. Clear the whole square, you can also use smoke grenades - they will help you move around. Eliminate the anti-aircraft support, go to the side and plant the C4 on the cannon.

Don't forget to step away before the detonation. If you prefer heavier weapons, you can an M60 and an RPD in front of the entrance to the church. Take down enemies with Adler. Along the way, you will also find an ammo crate. Keep going until you reach the tunnels - eliminate the enemies in the tunnels and keep going further. As you approach the exit, an armored enemy will suddenly jump out.

Find cover and fire the whole clip, or even two, at his head. After you're done, keep following Adler and clear out the enemies. The next anti-aircraft guns are located in the cemetery. Hide behind the tombstones and take down the enemies - there will be a lot of them. Watch out for the tombstones since they can shatter under fire. You can use the right side of the cemetery and use the tractor as cover. Clear the machine gun post on the left.

The minigun can be found inside a crate

On the way, as in the photo above, you will find a minigun inside a crate. Make sure you pick it up. It'll make the last section a lot easier. Go ahead with the minigun and take down everything that moves. Do it as quickly as possible because the countdown to a bombing run will begin. After killing everyone, destroy the last anti-aircraft guns (step away before the detonation).
