Action time
Call of Duty Cold War takes place in the 20th century. This is a period of ideological, political and military rivalry between the Eastern Bloc and the Western bloc. During the game you will take on the role of a character codenamed Bell, with the ability to create it - you can choose your skin tone, ethnicity and various personality features.
Compliance with reality
The story in Call of Duty Cold War is inspired by real events, the campaign includes locations such as East Berlin, Vietnam, Turkey and the Soviet headquarters of the KGB. Especially in the headquarters of the KGB you can meet Mikhail Gorbachev. One mission in cutscence is assigned to the player by the president of the United States, Ronald Regan.
It is true that during the Cold War the CIA had an agent at the KGB headquarters. It is also true that MI6 and the CIA were working together at the time.
