Best swords in AC Mirage
Initiate of Alamut Sword
The list opens with a sword received as part of the game's story introduction. Basim's starting sword has the Sharpened Blade ability, which increases the damage dealt to enemies immediately after a successful parry. This bonus is a reward for patient players waiting for a chance to make an effective counterattack. The weakness of the sword may lie in clashes with armored opponents, but if appropriately upgraded, it can become a deadly weapon.

Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar
The following section of the guide contains minor spoilers related to the plot of AC Mirage.
The futuristic Precursor blade rests in a rocky cavern deep beneath the lake, next to the Oasis on the northern edge of the map. You'll gain access to this location after defeating the first boss in the game and reuniting with your childhood friend - Nehal. However, finding the cave as part of the Nehal's Calling quest isn't the only requirement. To obtain the legendary weapon, you'll also need to collect 3 Mysterious shards. Rostam Sword
You'll receive this blade as a reward for completing the Weapons dealer contract mission. The legendary warrior's sword has a signature ability that causes each subsequent attack to deal an additional 5% damage. In the basic version of the sword, the bonus damage scales up to 50%. When wielding this weapon, it's worth waiting for the moment to bombard your opponent with a quick flurry of blows.
Best daggers in AC Mirage
Initiate of Alamut Dagger
As with the initial sword, the inconspicuous dagger obtained in the game's prologue proves to be an extremely effective weapon. The Aggressive defense ability causes an opponent's parried attacks to deal defensive damage. Confused guards become vulnerable to deadly counterattacks.
So, if no other short blade catches your eye, it might be a good idea to upgrade and use this dagger.
The Samsaama
It's the dagger that you can obtain by exchanging 2 Mysterious shards in the underwater cave under the Northern Oasis. The Ancient Isu dagger restores 10% of Basim's health on every fifth hit. Passive health regeneration will be particularly useful during longer missions filled with clashes.
You immediately receive Samsaama at the highest upgraded level, just like other parts of the Precursor's equipment purchased with Mysterious shards. Thanks to this, it also has very decent basic statistics.
Abbasid Knight Dagger
A blade with peculiar properties, found in one of the chests in the Karkh region. You can read more about finding chests on the Gear Chests page.
If Basim's health holding this dagger drops below 50%, his resistance to damage will increase by 30%. This means that the Abbasid Knight Dagger will primarily prove itself during exceptionally intense clashes with a group of enemies. A defense bonus can change the course of a seemingly hopeless encounter.
