Amazonia, an exotic and wonderful part of South America, is an additional game session of the Anno 1800 game, where you will be able to construct your second city. Amazonia, however, is not available from the beginning of the game. What must be done to unlock access to it?

Develop your city on the home island. Take care of the needs of farmers, create workers and start extracting new raw materials. After some time you will meet the requirements to be able to create a flat for the craftsmen. The new social group will unlock a lot of additional buildings - after some time, however, you will discover that you will not be able to meet the ever-growing needs of your residents.

The problems begin when trying to set up a production chain that creates luxury clothes. As it turns out, there is no cotton on your island. The need to find a valuable resource will force you to explore and discover "The New World".

To sum up: Amazonia will become available once you recruit the craftsmen and will get about halfway of the buildings available to that social class.
