The following chapter provides a list of all the available game modes in Anno 1800. In contrast to the previous release of the game - Anno 2205 - Anno 1800 will offer more content on the release day.

Game modes in Anno 1800

1. Campaign. Anno 1800 offers you a campaign, which gives you an option to experience developing your city during the industrial revolution. The length of the campaign should be similar to the one in Anno 2205. However, developers admit that this time they focused more on the narrative aspect of the gameplay.
2. Custom game. This mode allows you to adjust your gameplay. You can decide whether you want to follow the traditional sandbox mode with little obstacles, or play against AI. One should keep in mind that the developers did their best to make AI opponents challenging.
3. Multiplayer. Anno 1800 offers a multiplayer mode, which allows you to play against other players. Unfortunately, co-op mode will not be included.
