In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild you will fin dup to 16 different minigames that diversify the gameplay and allow you to earn some more Rupees. Each minigame is different and provides you with precious rewards. Below you will find the description of all minigames:

Shield-Surfing

You can play this minigame at the top of Hebra Mountain. Inside a cabin is a person who will propose shield surfing for 20 Rupees. If you successfully reach the finish line within 1 minute, you will unlock more advances track. If you complete it within the record time, you will get the Royal Shield.

Flight Range

After you complete Divine Beast Vah Medoh Dungeon, return to Teb and his wife, Saki. You will start a minigame in which you shoot a shield - similar to the one you had to complete in one of the story missions. If you shoot 20 shields within specified time, you will receive Gold Rupee.

Snowball Bowling

This minigame has been described in the section about methods of earning Rupees quickly. It involves throwing snowballs at bowles for Rupees.

Boom Bam Golf

A minigame resembling golf. Using the Stasis rune, you have to hit the ball until it lands in the hole. You will also find hammers that are best for this minigame. After getting the hole in 3 shots you receive Silver Rupee.

Footrace

This minigame is nothing else but a race to the top of the hill. You race against Konba. The track you choose is up to you. Use all your abilities and look for shortcuts to gain advantage. The reward is Silver Rupee.

Bird-Man Research Study

At the top of the tower, you can participate in another minigame. The rules are simple - you have to glide as far a spossible. If you surpass 800m you get silver rupees. In order to complete this minigame, you should have your stamina maxed out and the Revali's Gale ability unlocked.

Carry the Ice!

In order to unlock this minigame, you have to complete The Perfect Drink quest. You will find an underground chamber north of Gerudo town. There, you can start this minigam for 50 rupees. You have to carry an ice cube through the ruins and avoid monsters and sand. If you manage to do this within 2 minutes, you get Gold Rupee.

Sand-Scal Racing

This minigame becomes available after completing The Undefeated Camp. This time, you have a race waiting for you. You have to pay 100 rupees to enter. Your task is to complete consecutive checkpoints and reach the finish line in less that 1:30 minutes to receive Gold Rupee.

Super Gut Check Challenge

You can play this minigame right after completing Gut Check Challenge. To enter, you have to pay 100 rupees. You task is to climb the top of a mountain. Additionally, you have to collect 300 crystals on your way up. This task is quite difficult and it's best to upgrade stamina/prepare proper meals beforehand. As a reward, you receive 300 Rupees and Endura Shoom.

Restoring the Blue Flame

In order to unlock this minigame you first have to complete Robbie's Research. Your task is to light the torch in less than 3 minutes. This is a quite easy task for which you receive Purple Rupee. The next woman increases the difficulty level by shortening the time to 1 minute, and then 30 seconds. The next rewards are Silver and Gold Rupee respectively, although the task gets much more difficult. You have to use a mount and meals that increase movement speed.

The Test of Wood Revisited

This minigame becomes available after completing Test of Wood. Your task is to go through a significant area of forest in less than 5 minutes. This might be easier when using the whirlwinds and flying over some sections of the location. The reward is Silver Rupee.

Deer Hunting

This minigame involes Deer Hunting. You have limited time and each animal you hunt increases your reward in rupees. It is a difficult minigame and requires a lot of arrows. It is not a very lucrative activity.

Gambling

You can start this minigame in the north-eastern part of Lurelin Village. For 100 rupees, you have to choose one of three chests. If it's drawn, you get 300 rupees. This is a highly inviable minigame and is based on luck.

Paraglider Course

If you want to play this minigame, unlock Korgu Chideh Shrine. Outside, you will meet Mimo who will offer you the chanve to participate. Your task is to glide through consecutive rings. This requires an upgraded stamine. After passing 40 rings, you get silver rupee.

Horseback Archery

In this case, you have to shoot 20 baloons within one minite while on horseback. You have to aim carefuly to get the reward. If you succeed, you get knight's brindle and knight's saddle.

Obstacle Course

In this minigame you have to ride on your horse through numerous obstacles and beat two time records - 1:30 and 1:15. If you beat the former, you get the extravagant bridle. For beating the latter, you get extravagant saddle. This task is difficult. You neet a fast and sturdy horse to make it within the time limit.
