Recruiting new allies WoW: Warlords of Draenor Guide

There are several ways to recruit new allies and some of them have been presented below:

Complete storyline missions. Lots of followers join you during the min storyline of the game, after you complete several quests for them.

Dispatch your followers on missions. At the beginning of the game, you only have one follower. A quick way to recruit more is to dispatch that follower on several patrol missions. Often, you are rewarded with new followers, for completing them. This way, you can gain several new heroes.

Build a tavern. Building a tier two inn/ tavern allows you to recruit a follower each week. After you enter, one of the NPCs provides you with an option to pick one out of three suggested ones. You should pick the one that you deem the most useful, whether due to the Bodyguard ability, or to his profession.

Explore the game world. While exploring the game world, you can sometimes encounter followers in need. After you complete several quests for them, you can convince them to join you. This way, you can obtain the most interesting followers. One of such is the huge Ogre who, after you help him kill the enemies, will gladly join you and will add to your garrison's strength.

Gain achievements and reputation with factions. Some of the followers are a reward for achievements, whereas the others join you if you have the appropriate reputation with a given faction.
