Tips and hints
- Paced Strike passive ability activates when you hit three enemies with one attack. So, as a mercenary, you should opt for long weapons - preferably the halaberd.
- You should also think about choosing the right ranged weapon. Get a blunderbuss with a lot of damage - this weapon will be useful against elite and special enemies. A repeater handgun is great against groups of enemies. However, you have to keep in mind that the Mercenary can't replenish his ammo which means that you will have to look for it.
- Morale Boost is great for supporting your allies. Run to your ally and use this ability when you notice that they are struggling with a horde. It will push enemies back, granting your friend a temporary boost.
Suggested Mercenary build
The set of talents suggested below is the universal solution - by choosing this build, you will likely be able to cope with any situation.
- Battle Scars (level 5) - increase healing effects, which is particularly useful with constant, close-quarters scuffles.
- The More, The Merrier (level 10) - another proposal to increase defensive capacity. This talent accelerates endurance regeneration, allowing enemy blows to be blocked for longer periods of time.
- Reikland Reaper (level 15) - now, you should think about something that will increase damage. This talent increases the power of the character after activating the Paced Strikes.
- Soldier's Spirit (level 20) - fighting in the first row means killing lots of enemies - the talent temporarily increases HP after every kill.
- On Yer Feet, Mates (level 25) - this last talent is the perfect support for allies - it makes Morale Boost revive nearby companions. If you don't care about supporting the team, though, opt for the Gabbler.

Tips and hints
- A Huntsman should focus on eliminating special and elite enemies - you can kill them fast thanks to high damage. Look around a battlefield and try to kill dangerous enemies before they attack you or your allies.
- Remember to aim at heads - every headshot gives you ammo.
- Huntsman's career ability allows him to disappear - use it to get a perfect shooting position.
- Even though this character focuses on ranged combat, you should still get a good melee weapon. A halberd is a good choice - this weapon is great against hordes and it allows you to quickly eliminate enemies that are surrounding you.
Suggested Hunter build
The set below makes the Hunter deal more damage in shorter time. Remember to try and score headshots, which is easier if you reload more often and have a lot of ammo.
- Keep 'Em Coming (level 5) - the first talent improves reload time - the profits here are obvious.
- Make 'Em Bleed (level 10) - the next talent increases critical damage.
- Taal's Blessing or Makin' It Look Easy (level 15) - both are very good and both are related to headshots. If you want to have more ammo, choose the first one; if you'd rather deal more damage, take the latter.
- Soldier's Spirit (level 20) - all talents from this level increase health, but this one performs the best and activates most often.
- I'm Coming For Ya (level 25) - this talent increases the power of the character when using the Hunter's Prowl, which further improves damage.

Tips and hints
- The best role for a Foot Knight is to be a so-called Tank (the build can be found below) who focuses attention of the enemies and supports other members of the party. Use this class' career ability to help your allies - the charge allows you to save your friends when they are surrounded by a horde.
- You should stay in the first line but remember that enemies can attack you from behind or from a flank. Pay attention to ranged characters and remember to check their status to see if they are attacked by special or elite enemies. Help them as fast as you can.
- The aforementioned career ability - Valiant Charge - is useful not only during fights with larger groups of enemies. It is also great for, e.g. knocking down a Chaos Warrior (after that this enemy becomes an easy target). This ability works on all elite and special enemies - they can't use their skills if they are on the ground. Valiant Charge can even knock down some of the bosses.
- Even though the character might be associated with a shield, the best choice will be the halberd. A wide angle of attack allows you to quickly mow down hordes of enemies, which is particularly useful for helping surrounded allies.
Suggested Infantry build
The following combination for infantry focuses on distracting enemies and supporting ranged team members.
- Bastion of the Reik (level 5) - increases health.
- Regroup (level 10) - designed for support. Makes allies revived by yourself receive less damage.
- Defensive Formation (level 15) - improves the Infantry's passive skill, which further improves defense.
- Soldier's Spirit (level 20) - another talent increasing HP, this time after getting a kill.
- Glory Hound (level 25) - makes the Valiant Charge skill temporarily boost the character's Power, which is useful during quick charges towards allies to save them, when they can't manage to cope with the horde.
