Note: Start by the first base camp in the forest (Sheltered Ridge), the one where Lara made a fire in order to hide from the storm. Head west again, down the narrow pathway along the cliffside.

Stop as soon as she stands upright. You'll find the Totem when you turn left, hanging from a tree branch. Same as with other collectibles from this group, you need to destroy it, preferably with a bow (reward: 10 XP).

Note: Hanging from a wall in the northern part of the forest. It's located in the ruins (the ones examined by Whitman), to the right of the gate you open as part of an objective (reward: 150 XP).
