Operations | Singleplayer mode in Rainbow Six Siege Rainbow Six Siege Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 02 July 2018
Operation is a singleplayer mode available in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege. This mode can be considered as a tutorial that will introduce the player into the game's various functions. There are 11 special missions to complete here that force the player to deal with various problems like a planted bomb, a hostage situation, a room filled with mines etc. Each mission takes place on a different map and by a different Operator.
First, you should select easy difficulty level
If it's your first encounter with the Operations, you should start with the lowest difficulty level in order to learn the gameplay mechanics. This will increase your chances to survive and complete the missions.
Don't rush
There are no time limits during the operations, so there is no reason to hurry. Use drones whenever you want and scan each room you feel you should.
You don't need to be a perfectionist
Each operation features additional clear conditions that are rewarded with bonuses. If you fail to meet one of the conditions, you don't need to get frustrated. Go to the next operation, and once you feel comfortable enough to meet the previous conditions, go back to the previous mission.
