Lesion belongs to the Defender group of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege and has average armor and speed statistics. Its attribute is Gu Mine, which injects poison into the Operator's bloodstream, injuring him and reducing his movement speed. In addition, Lesion can use impact grenades or a deployable shield.
Gu Mines - how to use them
If you step on the Gu Mine, you will immediately suffer from a poison that reaches your bloodstream. The infected Operator will take continuous damage over time until Gu Mine is removed. What's more, the infected character will be much slower. To remove Gu Mine you need some time, so it takes a while and the victim is exposed to an attack. Lesion can literally throw Gu Mines, so he doesn't have to put his own health at risk to set a trap on the enemy. Interestingly, if many attackers are near the mine activation, they will all feel the effects of poisoning.
Gu Mines - limitations
Unlike other traps, Lesion does not have the ability to set up all the mines during the preparation phase. Lesion can use up to 7 Gu Mines during the round, but he doesn't have all of them right away. He starts the game with 1 mine and the receives the next ones with an interval of 30 seconds.
Where you should set Gu Mines?
As the Gu Mines become completely invisible when unfolded, you don't have to worry too much about hiding them manually. Remember that Gu Mines must be activated by your opponent, so try to place them where they're available rather than in shelves or high shelves with books. The best place to spread the Gu Mines is the most frequently used attack path. An interesting connection is the use of deployable shield in the passage and putting a mine just behind it. The opponent will be forced to jump over the shield and automatically land into the mine.
