The following chapter of our guide to The Surge 2 provides detailed information about the There and back again side quest. This is a simple mission that you can take when you reach the A.I.D. Command. It is worth noting that the item requested by the quest commissioner is a story-related item.
W A.I.D. Command, you'll find a man named Bugface who stands near the first MedBay. He will instruct you to find the Force Hook that allows you to use ropes from all over Jericho and get to many inaccessible sub-locations and find new secrets.
Note - this NPC may not show up at this location when you arrive there for the first time.
You will find the desired item at the very top of the hospital. Actually you will get there due to the storyline of the game. However, this is a story related item without which you cannot continue the quest. To reconcile these elements, you just have to give the item back to Bugface, then return to the same spot on the roof of the hospital and collect a new hook. You can make a speedrun and avoid all enemies along the way. Simply run to get the item. As a reward for completing the mission you will receive a unique weapon from the Codename: Elise series.
