After completing the Port Nixon / Terminal Z stage in The Surge 2, new features get unlocked including new sectors, and in some places you can find new enemies or modified layout of the city.

The road to Balboa Garden

After leaving Seaside Court, head to the main street, where there is a gate guarded by the military. Use an EMP drone, destroy the switch to unlock the magnetic lift behind the gate. You can pass through the gate by using a side passage where there are weaker enemies. Then, run to the elevator.

Then jump off and follow the road on the left side, leading to Balboa Garden at the end of the street. Beforehand, enter the alley between the buildings (it's best to run there first without worrying about your opponents) to unlock the secret passage to the first MedBay, at Detention Center.

In fact, you can get to Balboa Garden with almost no problems, even if your opponents would be a challenge.

Cloud9 Club

Inside the club you can talk to many people and get a lot of side tasks: these are described in other chapter of our guide called Side quests. The people you're going to meet at the club are:

1. DJ - give him the password so you can talk to him (Keymaker). Then you can take the Tag Attack side quest from him.
2. Dan Kadenokouji - he will give you the Fool's Errand side quest after a short conversation.
3. Yoko Kadenokouji - she will give you the Carnal Pleasures side quest.
4. Jordan Black - you can talk to her now, she is a character that occurs several times in the main storyline; she has no tasks for you.
5. H.A.R.O.L.D. Robot - he has information about the missing girl Athena, but his database is damaged... He orders you to go on another main mission: The Grand Prize, in which you must defeat a boss in Gideon's Rock and deliver his brain to Jonah Guttenberg in C.I.T. This mission is being replaced by a task
6. Bartender Highball - merchant; he also has a side mission for you:
7. MedBay in a room not far from the bar.

To continue the storyline, you need to enter through the door next to the bar to Gideon's Rock location.
