Can Reed swim in The Sinking City?
This page in our guide to The Sinking City will explain whether Charles Reed can swim or not. We have also included information on how to explore the world using a boat.
Yes, the main character of The Sinking City can swim. You don't have to worry that you will drown. Sadly, this doesn't mean that you can swim safely to various districts. The waters are full of bloodthirsty eels that can kill Reed in a few seconds.
You won't get hurt if you go back to the shore fast. If the eels appear, you will start losing health - healing Reed will cost you at least 1 first aid kit.
Use a boat to travel between the sunk districts of Oakmont. You don't have to use the same boat throughout the entire game. The game's world is full of them. Usually, you can find boats in parts where the water starts. Boats protect you from eels.
At some point in the story, the hero will be able to dive by wearing a diving suit. The bottom has its own dangers such as underwater monsters that can be defeated with a harpoon. More information on the page dedicated to Lost At Sea main case.
