How to solve the puzzle with the statues in The Council? | Gameplay basics

The puzzle with the statues appears in the fourth chapter of the first episode. It is connected to the message from your mother where she mentions a Medusa. Your objective is to place the statues in the right order.

The bookshelf presented in the picture above has a book that contains a hint. However, in this guide you can find a detailed solution for this puzzle.

Statues are easy to maneuver around. Approach a statue, select Rotate the statuette option and press the preferred direction.

There are four statues in the room: the Medusa, a hero holding a sword, a hero holding a shield and a hero holding a lantern. The following combination opens a secret passage and moves the plot forward:

1. The Medusa - select Toward the hero holding the Shield option.
2. The soldier with the Shield - select Toward the hero holding the Sword option.
3. The soldier with the Sword - select Toward the Medusa option.
4. The soldier with the Lantern - select Toward the hero holding the Shield option.

After that the game will play a short cut-scene.
