The Cave | Mission 4 - That Which is Hidden Styx: Shards of Darkness Guide
Last update: 29 March 2017
The next stage is not difficult. The first room you will defeat without a problem, among the boring guards - just stick to dark places. Then, climb up the rope with the cart onto the crane. However, you should climb very carefully, as you can be easily spotted. From there, go to the opposite wall via the ropes and then go through the window. Go outside through the second one on the right.
Making sure that you were not seen by the guard on the right side at the bottom, using perfectly suspended ropes and pieces of rock you will get straight to the designated point by the hearth. Go to the second indicator in the window and watch the monster through a crack. Then turn right, and you will go out into a corridor outside the gate. Now go to its end and descend to the lower level.
Here you will face off against Elvish guardians, as well as some insects. It will not be a large problem if you have some patience. Move from point to point and wait hidden in the shadows/closet until the guards will be going back and only then pass them in the hallways.
Go through the corridors to the room, that is slightly glowing with white light. Go to its end by walking around the outside and exit via a small passage near the closed gate.
You can also go another way, located at the lowest level. However, it is slow and dangerous, as there are a lot of insects there.
When you leave, the last stage will be waiting for you - 2 large trolls. They are distinguished by their ability to move in to attack much faster, when they manage to see you, even in the distance. Of course, they will also kill you immediately. Theoretically, you can hide from them by hanging from the edge of the rocks, but watch out for flying insects beneath you. You have to get to the second gate, because only there you can find the switch that opens it.
After you go through this and another big gate, you will see crafting tables and will surely notice, that there is something serious brewing here...
