Styx: Shards of Darkness System requirements
Last update: 21 March 2017
Styx: Shards of Darkness is not a very demanding game. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, it offers decent visuals with a good optimization. We suggest a mid-tier GPU for better visual effects, but the CPU may even be below average. The game is playable even on older rigs, including laptops, with the only requirement being a 64-bit CPU and OS, as well a DX11 support on the GPU's side.
No FPS drops, visual glitches, nor bugs were experienced during the writing of this guide. From time to time though, the game launched without border frames - if you are experiencing the same issue, use the Alt+Enter key combination.
