Check the possible means of escape: The Door in the kitchen, the Window in the corridor on the ground floor (behind the stairs) and the Window in the corridor on the first floor.
When in the corridor on the first floor, examine the Top stair. Take a look at the Table near the stairs and take a Bead-necklace. Select: Drop bead-necklace on the Stair.
In the corridor on the ground floor, approach the Cupboard covered with some material. Move the cupboard to block the way through the window. Activate Holmes's imagination.
In the kitchen, notice the Solid chair in the Corner. Examine the Kitchen door that lead to the living room and select: Block with chair on the Door handle.
Notice the Hatch in the kitchen floor (near the door to the corridor) and open it. Go to the living room and take the Carpet by the wall, next to the bookcase. Select: Cover with carpet on the Hatch. Activate Holmes's imagination.
Examine the Stove and take the Rope. In the living room, take a look at the Chandelier.
Select: Attach rope on the Chandelier and tie the rope to a big Hammer nearby. Next, hang the Chandelier. Activate Holmes's imagination.
After the thieves' visit, open the Safe with the key that you've taken from Foley. Examine the things inside.
