At the beginning of the game, HUB has a simple biomass generator (after a few upgrades, you'll receive another one). You can charge it with Leaves, Wood, Biomass, and Biofuel. Leaves are the most available source of fuel. As a result, remember to gather as many leaves as possible during every journey. As the time progresses, you'll be able to build standalone Biomass generators that will increase your electricity output. In the later stages of the game, you'll receive access to more effective ways of supplying electricity, e.g. using Coal.

When you build new objects and overextend the electricity network, a special system will disable the electricity, forcing you to activate the generator manually. Before you approach the nearest generator, make sure that it has fuel. This is the most common cause of power shortages.
