Important information about trophies in RAGE 2

1. The game can be played at any level of difficulty. You can easily unlock all trophies related to the main story or challenges even if you choose a low difficulty level.
2. It may take about 30-40 hours to unlock all trophies. A lot depends on how much time you have to spend searching for 30 drone spies or completing challenges related to killing enemies in certain ways.
3. Use wingstick as often as possible and the rocket launcher (after unlocking). There are some trophies related to this weapons - Off With Their Heads and Postmodern Picasso, which require you to kill at least 100 and 200 opponents, respectively, in certain ways. Destroy all cars while traveling by Phoenix. Throughout the game you need to blow up 128 of them.
4. You can unlock platinum trophy without the need of visiting every place and completing every location. It's much easier than in the Mad Max game, where you had to complete everything in 100%.
5. You can continue the game after completing the main campaign. Use this to complete skipped trophies which have o lot of challenges.

Post-Post-Apocalyptic Poster Child

Trophy type: platinum

How to unlock: Unlock all other trophies.

Commentary: Platinum trophy can only be obtained on PS4 version of the game.

Efficiency

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Kill 5 enemies in a row with assault rifle without reloading.

Commentary: We have described this achievement in more detail on a separate page of our guide.

Unloaded

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Use your assault rifle to shoot at least a 70 bullets series in 16 seconds.

Commentary: This trophy should be available to unlock at any moment in the game. Just keep a long shot from the assault rifle without reloading the weapon until your clip gets empty. If you have problems with this achievement at the end of the day, try two more methods:

1. Buy Magazine Capacity upgrade for the assault rifle, so you may shoot more bullets without reloading.
2. Turn on the overload during shooting to automatically restore the ammunition.

Skeet Shooting

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Hit enemy that is thrown into the air with your shotgun.

Hyper-Express

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Kill 2 enemies with the same shot of hyper-cannon.

Commentary: We have described this achievement in more detail on a separate page of our guide.

Postmodern Picasso

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Kill a total of 200 enemies with missile launcher.

Commentary: The rocket launcher can be obtained through a visit to the Strongbox Ark which is located in Torn Plains. Since the acquisition of rocket launcher try to use it in battles with large groups of enemies, thereby increasing the chances of killing several opponents, after the "consecration" of one rocket. Continue using the launcher until you reach 200 dead people.

Overly Driven

Trophy type: gold

How to unlock: Get the multiplier of Overdrive to value of 10.

THIS IS RAGE

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Use Dash Strike to kill 10 enemies.

Commentary: To unlock this trophy you need to spend feltrite to improve the Dash ability to the second level. Then go to the Perks window and spend 1 Nanotech Booster to unlock the Dash Strike attribute.

From now on, you can kill enemies with a Dash Strike. The action plan is as follows:

1. Find a weak enemy without armor and stay a few meters away from him. It would be good if the target was still, for example, to shoot the hero.
2. Press L1/LB to attach the Dash and approach the enemy with it.
3. Immediately after the Dash is complete, press the melee attack button (pressing the right analog knob on console pad). The attack will be stronger by 25%, which shall immediately kill the enemy.

Repeat this pattern until you get rid of a total of 10 selected enemies.

Come On and Slam! !

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Defeat 50 opponents with Slam.

Commentary: Slam can be unlocked by visiting the Earthscar Ark in Torn Plains. After you unlock this ability, look for opportunities to attack groups of enemies. According to the information received during the tutorial of the game, the best results may occur after you're located above the opponents in the time of using the ability, for example, on the roof of the building. Slam will be stronger in such situations. This way you have increased chances that the attacked enemies will be defeated and killed.

Pseudo Post Mortem

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Kill 3 enemies within 10 seconds after restoring all health with the Defibrillation.

Off With Their Heads

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Headshot a total of 100 enemies using the Wingstick.

Explosive Ending

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Kill an enemy with a Turret Drone explosion.

Commentary: We have described this achievement in more detail on a separate page of our guide.

Zipper

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Kill 13 enemies while riding ziplines.

Commentary: It is worth to remember about this achievement from the beginning of the game, cause you won't have many opportunities to use the Ziplines. After exploring all the big bandit camps try to scout them from a safe distance. Look around ziplines, located in the camp that may help you to get into it (such as in the picture - the longer the descent, the better). When using a zipline you can use an assault rifle, but the best option would be a rocket launcher that will increase your chances of killing the enemy.

If you come across a place where murdering opponents seems to be easy - don't kill all enemies prematurely. After descending on the zipline you may die on purpose, so that all enemies will respawn in the bandit den. Then start the zipline descent again to add more kills to the counter. Repeat this for as long as you get the achievement.

The Bigger They Are...

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Kill 7 Abadon Mutant Crushers.

Commentary: Information regarding the whereabouts of Crushers can be found in the Crusher Nests section of our guide. Exploration of nests lets you to find Crushers who have a form of mini-bosses. Nests can be visited in any order.

Hot Potato

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Reflect an enemy's grenade.

Commentary: We have described this achievement in more detail on a separate page of our guide.

Goon-De-leet

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Kill 1337 Goons.

Commentary: This is a very time-consuming trophy, but you don't have to concentrate on it in any special way. Even if you finish the main plot before killing 1337 enemies, you can continue your journey through the game world. First of all, it is worth visiting bandit dens shelters in which you may always find a pack of thugs.

Peek-a-boo .

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Kill a cloaked Shrouded enemy.

The Enemy of My Enemy

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Kill an enemy that is trying to kill an enemy.

Commentary: This is a much easier trophy than it may seem. As you progress through the game world you will quite often witness battles and combats between in-game factions. For example, bandits may be on a war with muties. The battle is often seen from afar, and it is accompanied by gunfire and explosions. We recommend you to drive up to this place with your Phoenix and begin firing at enemies. At least one of them should be busy attacking someone else at the same time. The death of such an opponent will be rewarded with the achievement.

Bytesize Takedown

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Destroy 128 Vehicles while driving the Phoenix.

Commentary: Please note that this achievement does not have a requirement of attacking cars used by enemies or cars that are in motion. A much simpler solution is to destroy the cars parked in the game world. Almost every unique location has at least one car. You can fire at it even from ordinary Phoenix cannons. Regardless of how you choose to earn this trophy, don't switch to another vehicle until you unlock the achievement.

Gonevoy

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Take down 1 Convoy Leader.

Crushed

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Kill an Abadon Mutant Crusher with the Phoenix.

Commentary: We have described this achievement in more detail on a separate page of our guide.

On the Limit

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Maintain top speed for 10 seconds with the Raptor.

Commentary: We have described this achievement in more detail on a separate page of our guide.

Over 9000

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Drive over 9000 meters.

Commentary: This is a very simple achievement that you can unlock shortly after completing the prologue. Throughout the game you will overcome a much greater distance.

Hangtime

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Jump over 100 meters with a ground vehicle.

Commentary: This achievement can be easily obtained when you try to unlock the Acid House trophy - we recommend to look at a separate page containing its description.

Also in this case, the opportunity appears after visiting Chazcar Derby: Torn Plains Track. During the race turn on the nitro just before driving on a jump-board. One of them is bigger and allows you to fly very far. Thanks to that you will get the trophy.

Acid House

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Complete the Torn Plains Race under 3:03.

Off Balance

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Knock 19 bikers off their bikes with the Phoenix's Dodge.

Commentary: You can unlock this trophy/achievement from the beginning of the game - you don't have to purchase any upgrades for Phoenix (the default vehicle) to perform a Dodge. To use it, move the analog stick to the left or to the right and press the ramming button (Triangle on PS4, Y on XONE).

Keep driving until you encounter enemy bikers. Don't attack or shoot them right away. Instead, keep driving until one of them gets close to the Phoenix. Use the Dodge to hit the biker.

You can make it easier to find bikers, because each of the convoys traveling on the map should include 3-4 motorcycles. You can drive to the location of the convoys and focus only on the motorcycles. After elimination of all opponents who used the vehicles, let the rest of the convoy to leave. Then, search for another convoy. Dozing

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Scoop up an enemy with the Wheeldozer.

Goon Fire

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Blow up a Goon with the Goon tank Booma.

The Ranger

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Complete The Ranger mission.

Commentary: The Ranger is the first main mission in Rage 2. More details about the prologue in our walkthrough.

Blackout

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Complete The Blackout mission.

Commentary: This is one of the three missions unlocked during the prologue. The description of Blackout mission can be found in our walkthrough.

The Signal

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Complete The Signal mission.

Commentary: The Signal is the second story mission received from John Marshall. You need to complete Blackout first and reach level five reputation for John. More information in the walkthrough section.

Wasteland Celebrity

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Complete The Wasteland Celebrity mission.

Commentary: This is one of the three missions unlocked during the prologue. The description of Wasteland Celebrity mission can be found in our walkthrough.

Beneath the Surface

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Complete Beneath The Surface mission.

Commentary: Beneath the Surface is the second mission received from Loosum Hagar. You need to complete Wasteland Blackout first and reach level five reputation for Loosum. More information in the walkthrough section.

Ground Control

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Complete The Ground Control mission.

Commentary: This is one of the three missions unlocked during the prologue. The description of Ground Control mission can be found in our walkthrough.

Double Cross

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Complete The Double Cross mission.

Commentary: Crossover is the second mission received from Dr. Anton Kvasir. You need to complete Ground Control first and reach level five reputation for Kvasir. More information in the walkthrough section.

Project Dagger

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Complete The Project Dagger mission.

Commentary: Project Dagger is one of the main quests unlocked after the prologue. However, you can't start doing it right away - you have to complete the main quests for John Marshall, Loosum Hagar and Dr. Anton Kvasir first. More details in the walkthrough section.

A Noah Lot

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Open 5 Arks.

Commentary: A simple trophy/achievement - there are more than 5 Arks in the game. Check Arks chapter to learn about their locations. This particular trophy/achievement requires you to visit any five of them. Each Ark contains either a new skill or a weapon.

Can't Stop Pop

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Pop 17 Balloons. You don't have to try to shoot down every notable balloon, as throughout the campaign you can find much more than 17.

Commentary: Check How to find and pop balloons? chapter to learn more about this topic. Balloons can be found during free exploration. They are added to your map when you get close to them. Shoot balloons with, e.g. Ranger Assault Rifle.

Mata Hari Manners

Trophy type: gold

How to unlock: Destroy 30 Spy Drones.

Commentary: Check How to find and destroy spy drones? chapter to learn more about this topic. You can find drones by exploring mandatory and optional locations. Each drone makes a quiet sound. Shoot a drone before it escapes. There are more than 30 drones which means that you don't have to destroy them all.

The Bowels of a Rust Giant

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Venture inside the Dune Sea EcoPod.

Commentary: The above picture shows the locations of Eco-Pods in the Dune Sea region - this is the central part of the region. Full description can be found in the Eco-Pods section of our guide. To get the achievement, it is enough to approach the Eco-Pod and explore new location. You do not need to further explore the area or search for Ark's chest.

Forlorn Watcher

How to unlock: Travel to the summit of the Broken Tract EcoPod.

Reaching Out to the Past

How to unlock: Traverse the bridge to the EcoPod in the Wilds.

Commentary: The above image shows the location of Eco-Pod in the Wilds region - look for it in the southern part of this region. You may get there from the north. Full description can be found in the Eco-Pods section of our guide. To get the trophy simply approach the Eco-Pod (climb the narrow bridge) and explore the new location. Wasteland Vagabond
