In RAGE 2 there are several items that you can make yourself at any time of the gameplay. To craft an item you will need the appropriate schematics and raw materials. These items can be found by exploring the game world. You may also buy some of them from merchants and traders. How does crafting work?

In RAGE 2 You can create your own: propellers, health infusions, grenades, overload infusion, skills infusion and drones. However, in order to be able to create these items, you must first purchase upgrade schematics. They're offered by most traders in the game world. The cost of these schematics ranges from $750 to $1500.

How to earn resources and raw materials?

Raw materials can be found after capturing and clearing out a selected area from all enemies. However, if you do not have passion to craft, you may buy those from traders. Raw materials for creating objects are not expensive, they cost several tens of dollars.

How to get upgrade schematics?

Upgrade schematics can be bought at merchants in the cities or from travelling traders, who wonder around the game world. Each scheme will unlock a new level of the item, thereby enhancing its effect.

What is worth crafting?

Many items that you can craft yourself can be found by exploring places with enemies - such items as grenades. So it's not worth to spend any crafting materials on such items. However, it is worth to craft infusions of health, overload and skills. These items will increase your efficiency in battle and facilitate each encounter with opponents.

Do projects affect crafting?

Among the projects of Loosum Hagar you will find several that directly affect the crafting process:

• Chemist (Large Special Ammo Bag) - reduces the number of chemicals needed for crafting.
• Engineer (Weapon Tinkering Expert) - reduces the number of mechanical parts required for crafting.
• Pyrotechnician (Weapon Juggler) - reduces the number of explosive parts needed for crafting.
• Technician (Sprinting reload) - reduces the number of electronic components required for crafting.

Thanks to these projects, you will be able to consume much less resources when creating new items.
