MultiVersus: Arya Stark - how to play?
On this page of the guide to MultiVersus you will read about a character with the assassin class, called Arya Stark, also you'll learn about the best perks for her. She is a character from the Game of Thrones universe.
Arya Stark in MultiVersus represents the Assassin class. She is very character and can quickly find herself behind the enemy's back. On this page of the guide, you can learn how to utilize her best when fighting other players or AI-controlled opponents.
General tips
Arya is a heroine recommended for experienced players, due to how complicated she is:
- One of the most difficult mechanics is face stealing . After performing a special neutral attack, Arya catches the opponent, taking his face away. Thanks to this, she gains a counter that shows how many times you can use a given move of the character she has previously robbed. For a short time, she will turn into the character whose face you took earlier .
- Normal neutral attack changes if you've taken another character's face. Then you will use the same move as the robbed hero has .
- The face theft counter varies with most characters . For example, by stealing Batman's face, you will only get one point that allows you to use a neutral normal attack. However, if Velma becomes your victim, you will score five points.
- Using a special neutral attack when you have any theft points will cause the enemy to be stunned if he was close to you.
- If you steal an ally's face, this skill will have to be renewed . Therefore, if it is not a character that has strong moves on a neutral normal attack, it is better to use this attack on enemies.
- Both the ally and Arya herself deal increased damage to enemies if their melee attack hits the opponent's back . Also, if you perform a neutral dodge in the right time, you'll get a turn attack, which will cause the next hit to pierce enemie's armor.
- When Arya throws the enemy out of the arena, she will create a pie where she was last. If the enemy picks them up, he will be healed , although also slowed down for a few seconds .
Signature Perks
Arya Stark offers 2 signature perks . The first is Trophy. When you knock out an enemy, you'll automatically receive their face. This effect can appear up to three times (because the match ends after the fourth knockout).
The second signature per is Betrayal. If you hit your ally with the dagger, or he picks it up himself, he will receive a frenzy status and the next attack will apply the maximum debuff to the opponent. If Arya reaches an ally who has a short knife with him, she will also get Rage.
If you're going to play 2v2, Betrayal will be your best bet because of the powerful buff you can give your team. However, this bonus is useless in 1v1 combat, so choose the Trophy in this mode.
Recommended build
The unique bonus should be changed depending on whether you are playing solo or 2v2 with an ally:
- Slippery Customer - a defensive bonus thanks to which your team gains 10% longer dodge invulnerability window. When an ally chooses this bonus, this bonus will increase to 15%.
- Triple Jump - a perk that allows your team to use the third jump if you hit the enemy in the air. This effect is always active when an ally also chooses this buff.
- Fancy Footwork - a perk that allows your team to cover 5% more range when they dodge. When an ally chooses this bonus, this bonus will increase to 10%.
Arya can also take advantage of several other strong bonuses that work well with her moves:
- Sturdy Dodger - a defensive bonus that gives your team armor for 1 second, if you have successfully performed a neutral dodge. The armor duration will be increased to 3 seconds if the ally also enables this buff in their build. As Arya has a passive ability that allows her to destroy armor after a neutral dodge, this bonus can be treated as a complement to the skill.
- Lumpy Space Punch - an offensive bonus that causes your team to deal 5% more damage from melee attacks in the air. If the bonus is accumulated, it increases to 10%. Arya often fights on the ground, which is why this is the best offensive option for her.
How to win as Arya Stark?
As an assassin, you are very agile, so you should focus on the weakest links in the opposing team. As soon as possible, approach the enemy and start harassing him with your melee attacks . It is best when your blows hit the enemy's back, because then you will deal much more damage.
If the enemy escapes you very often, use your special side attack. You will then throw a dagger. After using this combo again, you will teleport to where the short sword was located .
Also remember about stealing faces quite often. Thanks to it, you will be able to use regular neutral attacks of a robbed character . If this does not satisfy you, because, for example, these moves are useless, you can stun the enemy with a special neutral attack, if you had any theft points.
Your fight should be mostly in the air . Arya has multiple moves that hit multiple times and knock out enemies. Remember to jump and dodge frequently to better control your character and react to your opponent's movements. Don't give him a moment to rest and keep pushing.
After you successfully take an enemy out of the arena, you can quickly throw them into the dough that should appear then. It is true that it restores some health, but an enemy character that has died will not restore health, because the damage counter will be 0. Thanks to this, the opponent will only be slowed down for about 3 seconds.
