The following page of the Lost Judgment guide contains the walkthrough for Chapter 4: Red Knife. You'll learn how to thoroughly investigate the crime scene and how to use a new gadget - the Detector. We've listed the exact locations of all cameras on the Ikebukuro station, described the dog detective side case as well as the fight against Tesso and the Liumang. The crime scene

Go to the school, enter the teachers' room and talk to Yoko Sawa. Then head to the crime scene. While in search mode examine the fence to the side of the building.

Examine the air conditioning and use it to climb onto the first floor. Walk the plank to the right, then press X/A to get a running start and jump onto the next balcony. Press Circle/B while airborne, Yagami will bounce off the wall and jump onto the terrace.

Climb up the air conditioning to the next floor, walk the plank to the left and jump to the terrace in front of you.

Once you reach the next terrace turn right and walk across the pipe onto the protruding piece of the floor.

Jump up to the pipe and head left. Tilt the left analog stick to the left and press Circle/B to jump onto another pipe.

Keep moving left until you reach the end. Then jump onto the highest pipe, head left, jump down and go through the window.

Inside the building you need to jump down to get a closer look at the crime scene. Examine the arrow on the ground and the bloodstain in Search Mode.

During the talk with the police select the photo of the victim, then exhaust all dialogue options. Finally, select No more questions.

Once you're done talking to the police, a chase will start. Remember to follow the directions on the screen and avoid small obstacles. If you see balls, cans or buckets in front of you, run into them and press Triangle/Y to kick them towards the man you're pursuing.

Return to the office after the successful chase.

Detector

After you leave the office, head to the marker on the map. When talking to the police, show them your Attorney's Badge.

Tsukumo will give you a new gadget, the Detector. Enter Search Mode, head to the parking lot to the right of the building and examine the signal coming from a car (the Detector's indicator will turn green). Watch a cutscene to complete the Dastardly Detective: Introduction side case.

Return to the office and rest up on the couch.

Cameras at Ikebukuro Station

Leave the office building and take the nearest taxi. Go to Ikebukuro Station.

Inside the train you need to examine:

1. The window,
2. The camera by the door.

Your next objective is to find all the cameras on the station.

There are three cameras in the first area:

1. The 1st camera is located next to the train;
2. The 2nd camera is located behind the stairs;
3. The 3rd camera is located in the middle of the platform.

Once you have found all the cameras, exit Search Mode and proceed to the next area of the platform.

In the next area you must find five cameras:

1. The 1st camera is located on the left side of the platform;
2. The 2nd camera is located between the stairs and the elevator;
3. The 3rd camera is on the right side of the platform, next to the elevator;
4. The 4th camera is located behind yet another staircase;
5. The 5th camera is on the right side of the platform, next to the train.

The final area of the platform contains five cameras:

1. The 1st and 2nd cameras are located on the left side of the platform;
2. The 3rd and 4th cameras are located by the train;
3. The 5th camera is in front of the stairs.

In quick search mode, investigate:

1. The location where the suspect got off the train (Disembark Point);
2. The cameras' blind spot by the stairs;
3. The escape route by the stairs halfway up the platform;
4. The place of Ehara's arrest (Apprehended).

Dog detective

Once you return to Yokohama go to the school and talk to the teacher, Yoko Sawa. Return to the office afterwards.

A Side Case, A New Partner? will begin. Follow the dog while keeping it on a leash, head forward, then turn right, and turn right once again behind the taxi.

Start following the dog again after talking to the woman and the child. It will lead you to the parking lot, taking a turn next to the blue car.

After talking to the child's mother, you'll have to defeat several enemies. After completing the case, you'll unlock the dog detective. Using the Dog app, you'll be able to summon the dog to help you with tracking.

Finally, return to the office.

White Masks Liumang

After talking to Tsukumo, you'll start chasing the man in a white mask, who'll lead you into an ambush.

When fighting Tesso remember you can't disarm him. Choose the Tiger or the Snake style, block his blows and use the items surrounding you to dispatch the enemy. You should especially watch out for his jump attacks and thrown blades.

Once you beat Tesso, the remaining Liumang members will attack. Switch to the Crane Style and take care of all enemies.

Climb the stairs and continue your fight against the Liumang. Kaito and Kuwana accompany you here, so you'll be able to use special EX actions which require allies.

Approach the highlighted scaffolding and destroy it with Triangle/Y or Square/X. Go down the stairs.

After defeating some more enemies you'll be attacked by Yang. First defeat his two helpers, then switch to Snake or Tiger and dispatch the main opponent.

After the encounter return to your office and rest up on the couch.

Tokyo Detention Center

Leave the office and go to Kamurocho via a taxi. After a short walk, you'll be attacked by enemies.

Defeat the regular enemies with the Crane style, then switch to Snake or Tiger to deal with the strongest one.

Head to the office. Talk to Saori, then take a taxi and head to the Tokyo Detention Center.

While talking to Akihiro Ehara select the photo of Mikoshiba before the murder, or the photo of men in white masks.

To end the chapter, go to your office in Kamurocho.
