Where to find the Fallen Archbishop Andreus?
After opening the main gate, which is located near the Stargazer called the St. Frangelico Cathedral Library, the boss arena will be on the right.
How to win the phase 1 of Fallen Archbishop Andreus?
First of all, it is worth noting that the boss fight is divided into two phases, but the second one starts after you reduce the boss's health bar to 0. It means that you will have to defeat him twice.
Fallen Archbishop Andreus also inflicts decay with his attacks, and goo is leaking from his body. This status causes your health to decrease constantly and your weapons to deteriorate over time. Having some ampoules would be a good idea.
Flamberg Legion Arm is very useful in the fight against Andreus. It quickly applies overheat status to the boss. Thanks to this, you will deal continuous damage over time, and the boss will also have more difficulties with healing.
The boss often attacks with his hands when you are in front of him. He usually raises his right hand up and hits the ground, and after a long while makes a horizontal attack. It is worth blocking them to slowly make Andreus become groggy. However, if you still have trouble with timing, remember to move away from him or hold block and then attack - this will restore some of your lost health.
The boss can also attack with his tongue, although the animation of the attack is very similar to the one where he attacks with his hands.
If the boss raises his hands up, after a short while he will hit the ground with them. If this attack hits you, it will stun your character for a long time and knock you down. However, it is telegraphed clearly enough that it's easy to block it.
Andreus can stand on two legs for a moment, then he will glow red. He has two fury attacks. If he raises his leg and then stomps quickly, he will immediately fall down and deal damage. When he starts to fall down, you have to perform a perfect dodge or get behind him.
The second animation is a bit longer, and he doesn't lift any of his legs. He also covers a slightly longer distance. If you don't want to risk with blocking, you will have plenty of time to go under the boss and start attacking his back.
How to win the phase 2 of Fallen Archbishop Andreus?
When the boss's health drops to zero, a cut-scene will play. After a moment, Andreus will emerge from the inside of the body. From now on, you will fight two opponents in one body. Andreus is agile, and his attacks are unpredictable and can launch you into the air, so we recommend focusing on the enemy's maw from the first phase.
If you're going to fight with the maw of the great worm, in which Andreus was hidden, he shouldn't surprise you too much with new moves. His paw attack is much faster, so when he raises them, block this attack immediately.
When the boss's health drops to 50% in the second phase, he will try to fire a blue beam. First, run up to him and get behind his back - the attack won't hit you. After a while, he will lose his balance and fall, creating a shock wave . You must then dodge or move away from him quickly.
Also watch out for his horizontal attacks, as he will start spinning during the second phase. This will cause Andreus to be straight in front of you. Try to avoid such situations and immediately approach the boss's maw.
