Horizon Zero Dawn: Trophy Guide, achievements list

Last update: 06 August 2020

On this page of the trophy guide for Horizon Zero Dawn you can find a list of all base game trophies - the ones that are connected to the story campaign and those needed to unlock Platinum trophy. Each trophy contains information regarding its requirements, as well as our own Hints that will help you in unlocking them easily.

If you are looking for trophies connected to DLC content, visit a different page called DLC Trophies.

The most important data regarding Horizon Zero Dawn's base game trophies

  1. In all, the base game trophy list has 56 entries - 1 platinum trophy (available only in the PS4 version), 2 gold, 5 silver, and 48 bronze.
  2. PC version also offer trophies - Steam achievements for the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn are the same as those in the PS4 version. Note - PC version contains all DLCs, so if you want to learn more about DLC achievements, visit DLC Trophies page in our trophy guide.
  3. All trophies in Horizon Zero Dawn are unlocked in the course of the single player campaign. The game doesn't have any multiplayer features - in case of the PS4 version, you don't need PS+ subscription.
  4. The game is designed in such a way that all trophies are unlocked in the course of the story. Only exception to this rule is All Allies Joined trophy, which requires that all possible allies join Aloy during the final battle. You won't lose the chance of getting this trophy if you finished the final mission without allies, as the game allows you to repeat the final mission. Nevertheless, repeating the mission is not a desired outcome, as it can prove to be quite difficult to complete.
  5. You don't have to find all collectibles and complete side missions the moment they appear. All additional activities can left for later, you can even complete them after finishing the main story.
  6. The main campaign can be completed on any difficulty level, even the lowest one. The base game trophies doesn't contain any achievement related to the difficulty level. The game contains a trophy called Ultra Hard Completed, but it is connected to New Game+ mode and isn't related to the main set of trophies. The Hints regarding this achievement can be found on DLC Trophies page.
  7. Getting the Platinum trophy should take you at least 40 hours. Horizon Zero Dawn is a large game, which aside from a quite extensive storyline campaign contains lots of additional content. There are trophies involving e.g. side quests, map exploration, finding collectibles, or fighting machines.
  8. The base game trophy list does not contain difficult trophies, but unlocking some of them may take a lot of time - we are talking about e.g. trophies that involve searching for metal flowers or advancing to level 50. Blazing Suns at all Grounds trophy may prove to be quite difficult, as it involves completing all trials on Hunting Grounds. Fortunately, you can make the task easier by taking on this challenge only after getting the best available equipment in the game and setting a low difficulty level.
