This chapter is a complete guide for A Moment's Peace quest. Here you can find tips that will help you to finish this quest in the most beneficial way.
Activating the quest
The quest is added to your journal after you speak with Vilgund in Meridian. You learn that there is a place where machines are not aggressive towards people. He suggests that you should investigate it.
Find Banuk village
When you get closer to the appointed place you will see a scenery like on the picture above. Get closer to the village and you can quickly notice that machines are overridden by Banuk tribe. Speak with one of the members of the tribe to learn more and continue the quest.
In the center of the camp, near the wreckage of a giant machine, you can find a man called Tikuk. He allows you to investigate the peace of the machines. First, activate the Focus and search for clues that will get you on the right track.
Find the signal's source
Soon, you come across an unidentified source of signal that comes from the mountains far away. Go in that direction and you quickly come across the wall to which Banuks pray. On the left there are a few rock ledges that can help you to get to the mountains' upper parts. You have to climb for some time. Aloy automatically chooses most of the ledges and if she stops, you have to jump where the quest marker points you.
In the later part you can notice a few calm Glinthawks and a campfire next to them. Follow the path next to the checkpoint and you will meet two men. Speak with them. You must get to the signal's source. There, you have to watch a cut-scene.
Defend the Banuks
Scan the artifact by using Focus. After that, the quest is updated and you must go back to the village. The quickest way leads through a tree branch that can be found opposite the campfire, near the Glinthawks. When you get to the bottom, it turns out that the machines started the attack. Kill two Scrappers and one Ravager. After that, speak with Tikuk.
Finishing the quest
After a short dialog you must return to Vilgund. After a conversation with him you receive the reward and the quest is completed.
