How to find special items?
During the game you can come across specific items that can't be used to improve your character or during a combat. Those items can be found in the dedicated tab in the equipment menu. Although in the beginning you can find them by accident, after The Womb of the Mountain quest you are able to buy maps that points the locations of particular items.
Those maps can be bought from any merchant outside the Embrace. Leave its territory after completing The Womb of the Mountain quest and you can quickly find a merchant that has them in their offer. Even though the maps shows you where, more or less, the items are they are often very well hidden. Their exact location can be found in the chapters dedicated to particular treasures.
When can I sell items?
The treasures are divided into sets. The exchange is only possible after you get the complete set, e.g. all metal flowers for set I.
The exchange is made possible when you get to Meridian because only there you can find a person that is interested in the items. This can be done after finishing A Seeker at the Gates quest, the solution for this mission can be found in this guide.
What can I get for particular collections?
Depending on a merchant and complexity of a collection you can get various rewards for the items. You can only exchange Banuk figures, metal flowers and ancient vessels. The Vantage datapoints are part of the collection but they can't be exchanged.
The chests, that you get for them, will mostly contain metal shards. They also often contain boxes that gives you a random modification.
How to find the right merchants?
On Meridian's map you can find merchant icons that have one difference when compared to the regular ones. Search for the merchants marked by a star in their icon. When you move the cursor map over them you can see information about the items that they are interested in. Leave a marker on them to quickly find them.
Kudiv is interested in metal flowers. Studious Palas can buy the ancient vessels from you and you can bring the Banuk figures to Cantarah.
