How to develop your graveyard in Graveyard Keeper? Graveyard Keeper Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 03 September 2018
You will start your journey in Graveyard Keeper on the graveyard itself. This will be your first opportunity to make gold and/or resources. Your first task in the game will be to increase the quality of the graveyard to (+5). This can be done by clicking on specific objects on the graveyard and repairing them.
You will receive your first items repair kits from the Episcop. Those will, however, quickly be used, which is why you need to invest in technology.
There is a tab called "building" in the tech tree. This tab holds the tech responsible for processing and using resources, such as stone and wood, that are used to construct new buildings. To acquire wooden planks and repair kits, you need to unlock a technology called Woodworking. Those items will allow you to continue repairing graves.
Once you acquire +5 graveyard rating, you can complete the mission by talking to Episcop, giving you access to the church.
Expansion of the graveyard
The terrain of the graveyard can be expanded once you acquire 40 friendship points with the Inquisitor. Go to Inquisitor and talk to him. All you need to do is to press the Unlock area button and the terrain will be automatically expanded. This does not require any tools or energy of the character.
How to improve the quality of the graveyard?
The quality of a cemetery increases when you remove unnecessary elements from it such as branches and shrubs. What is more, you need to take care of the graves - Each grave should have a plate and a cross. You can create them by clicking on the gravestone. You can use different raw materials to create these elements. The best decorations are made from marble, a resource found in the Quarry.
