The farm in Graveyard Keeper is used to complete missions, create new dishes and earn money. However, the development of the farm is not required in order to complete the game. Thanks to the plants grown on the farm, you will be able to acquire a large sum of money, as each harvest can net you between 50 to 100 bronze coins. This in turns means that harvesting an entire field might get you up to 100 silver coins.

You first need to get a permission to use the farm. You will get it from the bartender in The Dead Horse. In the current version of the game, you have to go to the garden, look at the board next to the workbench and then go to Horadric. You have to ask him about the garden - this way you will obtain the permission.

Once you have the permission, head to the farm. It can be found directly below the house of your character. Approach the table and use the permission to start a farm.

After using the permission, you will be able to create first garden beds. Select the empty garden bed option and place it in the specified area.

Your last task will be to purchase seeds from the farmer and planting them on the farm. You just need to get to the farm, press E and place the seeds into the ground. Each planting requires 4 seeds.
