It has been developed by the Polish Kubold studio led by Jakub Kisiel – a former employee of CD Projekt RED and People Can Fly, who worked on titles like Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment and The Witcher 3. The story of Aliens, Trolls & Dragons takes place in a distant future, in which new planets have been colonized or discovered, including a one with civilization similar to Earth’s medieval period.

As in pretty much any survival game, the essential element of the gameplay is the need to obtain food, and the resources necessary to construct simple tools or, eventually, your own fort.

In War of the Vikings, players have the opportunity to take the side of the Saxons or the Vikings and stand up to brutal competition in online skirmishes for up to 64 players. The gameplay mechanics is based on the solutions from War of the Roses with an emphasis on even greater realism in close combat.
