Crusader Kings II: Sunset Invasion PC

Crusader Kings II: Sunset Invasion is the third major expansion for Crusader Kings II, a grand strategy game developed by Paradox Interactive and released in 2012. In order to play, the basic version of CK2 must be installed.

Sunset Invasion offers a fantasy scenario when an Aztec Empire invades Europe in the 8th century. For Paradox Interactive, it is the first case of deviating from historical realism in their grand strategy games. Bloodthirsty invaders came to the Old Continent with an intent of conquering the medieval countries and rounding up massive amounts of its inhabitants to be sacrificed to the Aztec gods. The add-on naturally integrates with the original game and its content is activated in the later period of the standard campaign.

Sunset Invasion introduces a lot of new units and portraits. It also models the unique aspects of Aztec religion and culture, including brutal rituals. Nobody is safe in the lands that fell victim to the invaders, many characters are sacrificed to the dark gods. What’s more, with Aztecs, a new plague comes to Europe - one that European medics cannot easily deal with.
