Heroes can join convents, forbidden cults, or heretic Gnostic movements. New members mean more power – each organization can increase its clout, achieving more influence and increasing the prestige of its members. Such membership unlocks new types of actions, and ends up with new adventures.

Joining a convent doesn’t have to end up with secluded lifestyle, as such organizations also search for secular members. Membership means bonuses to piety, but also imposes certain obligations upon the player. Joining secret cults is risky, but can end up being much more profitable. Each group has a leadership ladder hat can be challenged, resulting in new abilities and chains of events.

Additionally, the expansion introduces the ability to hunt for heretics, or to send a chaplain with a mission to destroy the groups that undermine our’s, and the church’s authority. We’ve also received new types of assassins, and can now finance archeological expeditions in search of treasure or holy relics.
