During the game we take care of resources, train armies and fight or enter into alliances with other players.
Thirty Kingdoms is a medieval fantasy browser-based MMO strategy, in which we are at the head of one of thirty noble families, in order to lead him to dominate the continent through development and expansion. The German studio Bytro Labs, specializing in online browser and mobile games, is responsible for the creation of the game, known mainly due to the highly rated strategy of Supremacy 1914.
The game focuses on PvP competition between 30 kingdoms controlled by title players. The game takes place on a large map, consisting of two continents divided into 100 unique provinces. Each of them is developed separately and provides players with both the raw materials they need to expand and the soldiers necessary for further expansion. Initially, we take control of five provinces, and our main opponent is the barbaric tribes spreading around the area, controlled by computer-controlled AI. With time we conquer more areas, competing with other players and climbing to the top of the ranking table.
One of the key aspects of the game in Thirty Kingdoms is the acquisition and management of available resources. There are five types in the game (grain, wood, stone, iron ore and mythril), and their production is done by specific buildings, which we erect and improve in individual provinces. The complete development tree in the game allows you to build 25 different types of buildings. The materials obtained in this way will serve us mainly for the development of military power. The game allows us to create troops of scouts, militia, archers, knights, as well as special units in the form of dragons, magicians or trolls. With their help we will gain new provinces, thus contributing to increasing the production of raw materials and speeding up the development of our kingdom.
In the game could not miss the fight between the players. It takes place in real time, taking into account certain terrain characteristics. In Thirty Kingdoms, however, combat is not the only right way to expand your domain and influence. The creators put emphasis on the issues of diplomacy and the possibility of forming alliances. Thanks to this we will be better protected in the event of an invasion of enemy troops and easier to defeat the opponent in a direct attack, but also gain the opportunity to trade with allied kingdoms. An important benefit is also the ability to train special units such as spies and killers to allow silent infiltration of enemy provinces and sabotage at the back of the enemy.
In terms of binding, Bytro Labs production uses HTML5 language capabilities and represents the level typical for browser MMO games. Thirty Kingdoms is distributed in a free-to-play system with micropayments. In addition to the typical internal currency of gold, the game also has a premium currency in the form of emeralds, which, as in most similar productions, means that shopping for real cash in a special shop can provide us with a number of useful bonuses, thus making it easier for us to reach the top.
