Songbringer

Developed by a one-man studio called Wizard Fu Games, Songbringer is an RPG drawing its inspiration from The Legend of Zelda video game series. In the game, the player assumes the role of a hero, who travels throughout the galaxy on board of a space ship accompanied by a former programmer, who, before his death, transferred his consciousness to a so-called skybot.
Shift Happens

A hybrid of a platformer and a logic game, developed by the independent studio Klonk Games. The player takes control of Bismo and Plom – jelly-like humanoid creatures. By some accident, the heroes get literally bound together, which enables them to exchange their masses. Gameplay of Shift Happens consists in traveling through colorful locations, collecting valuable coins, and solving more and less demanding puzzles which require close cooperation between the two heroes.

A futuristic sports game. The title is an unusual hybrid of hockey and tennis. It was developed by independent studio High Horse Entertainment. The players participate in matches that take place on a rectangle field that is divided into two halves with a net. By throwing the titular disc above it, the player is trying to hit the opponent’s zone. Depending on the place of the hit, it is awarded with from one to five points.

Another official expansion to the free-to-play card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft by Blizzard Entertainment. This time the developers send us to the unexplored forest of the Un’Goro crater, which is inhabited by intriguing, but also very dangerous species of fauna and flora. We follow the team of explorers led by Elise Starseeker, encountering mighty dinosaurs, wild elementals, carnivorous plants and many other interesting organisms.

A two-dimensional fighting game developed by Japanese studio Arc System Works. The title is an upgraded and enriched version of Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator. The action of the game takes place in year 2187, when a female warrior named Ramlethal, who leads creatures called Valentine, declares war against humanity. The campaign of the game consists of chapters focused on various characters and the cutscenes between the fights are similar to visual novels.

The collection was developed by Capcom and it contains games that were released in late 80s and early 90s on Nintendo Entertainment System. The Disney Afternoon Collection contains the following titles: DuckTales (1989), Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers (1990), TaleSpin (1991), Darkwing Duck (1992), Chip n’ Dale Rescue Rangers 2 (1993) and Duck Tales 2 (1993). All titles were remastered and adapted to modern gaming platforms.

The production is based on the popular franchise consisting of i.e. anime series and animated movies. The game only features a single player mode, and the story campaign follows a young girl called Atsuko “Akko” Kagari, studying at an academy for witches. The protagonist and her friends have to discover the truth behind a series of strange events in the academy.

Hearthstone: Knights of the Frozen Throne is the sixth expansion for the free-to-play card game Hearthstone. It was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and can be bought through the game’s store for either real or in-game currency. This expansion focuses on Lich King’s army and his kingdom of Northrend. Just like the Whispers of the Old Gods DLC, Knights of the Frozen Throne tells an alternate version of the well-known events.

Chess Ultra allows us to compete against other players or AI that offers ten difficulty levels, which determine how many moves can the computer read in advance and the probability of it making a mistake. The action is observed from the first-person perspective. We can learn both the basics and advanced strategies in the tutorial. In total, the developers prepared eighty chess challenges (e.g. winning a game within seven turns).

Nidhogg 2 is an action game developed by Mark “Messhof” Essen, the same person who created the series’ first installment that was released in 2014. The game uses the same gameplay mechanics as its predecessor. Once again we get a 2D action game where we take part in duels on vast, tiered levels similar to those from typical platform games. We can play against A.I. or other players through online or split-screen multiplayer.
99Vidas

Developed by the independent developer QUByte Interactive, 99Vidas is a conventional 2D beat'em up game. The titular 99Vidas is an incredibly powerful artifact, which was stolen by the Evil Boss. The main characters are fighters trained to guard the artifact - their goal is to defeat the adversary along with the six allies of his, apart from retrieving the item before it gets used for evil purposes. As all the other brawlers in general, the game is played from a side view.

Shadowverse plays similarly to other games representing this genre – the gameplay builds on card duels with AI or other players. One’s task during a duel is to reduce the other player's life points to zero by playing cards representing monsters and spells.

Shadowverse: Wonderland Dreams

Shadowverse: Wonderland Dreams is the fifth DLC for the 2016 digital CCG Shadowverse that was developed by the Japanese studio Cygames. The expansion does not introduce any gameplay changes, but comes with 104 new cards among which we will find neutral cards and those that are exclusive to each of the seven available classes. All of the new cards refer to classic fairy tales and fantasy stories like Don Quixote, Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, The Wizard of Oz, and many others.

Pokken Tournament DX is an improved version of the Wii U game Pokken Tournament. In terms of gameplay mechanics, the game in topic is not much different from most popular 3D fighting games. The game introduces one new pokemon that was not available in its 2016 version, Decidueye.

The background colors are constantly changing, and a different color may mean that, for example, a bridge was removed, or a new platform was spawned. The pace of the gameplay forces the players to stay alert if they want to reach the finish line as a winner.

The game also features a complex arcade mode, which gives an opportunity to eliminate AI-controlled enemies solo or in cooperation.
