Game modes
Chess Ultra for PC, PS4 and etc. is a classical chess simulator in which we can compete either with human or computer opponents. The action is observed from the first-person perspective. Having decided to play against the AI, the players choose one of ten difficulty levels that influence the amount of moves the computer rival can predict and the probability of it making a mistake. The basics as well as advanced strategies can be learned in the tutorial. It total, the developers prepared eighty chess challenges that require us to, for example, win a game within seven turns.
The production offers many multiplayer modules. Apart from a local match on a common screen, we can also play online. Chess Ultra for PC, PS4 and etc. lets us organize our own tournaments and search for rivals of the same skill level. We can also play ranked games that allow us to climb up the constantly updated list of the best chess players.
Technical aspects
To diversify the game, the developers created four game rooms, which are spaces designed with great attention to detail. Moreover, we can also alter the appearance of the board and chess figures by choosing from tens of available models. The production supports 4K resolution.
