An arcade racing game for {PLAT}. Our objective is to take part in a race and finish it, but the task is made difficult by the nature of courses and obstacles, which are constantly transforming. The background colors are constantly changing, and a different color may mean that, for example, a bridge was removed, or a new platform was spawned.

Runbow is an arcade game for PS4, PC, etc., in which colors play the most important role. Meetings of up to nine people at the same time boil down to one, specific goal - to reach the designated point in the shortest possible time. It is difficult because the appearance of the boards and obstacles is constantly changing, depending on what color currently dominates in the background. Studio 13AM Games is responsible for production.

The basic mode in Runbow is reminiscent of classic races with the help of exceptionally skillful characters. The possibility of jumping, climbing and obstructing the movement of other heroes, however, has been additionally diversified by the mechanics of constant change of the track - depending on the colour of the board, its appearance evolves, e.g. some footbridges disappear or new platforms appear, allowing jumping to the next place. The whole is changing very dynamically, so players have to constantly observe the map in order to be the first to reach the finish line.

The game also offers several other modes that focus on a little bit different goals - such as Arena, where we try to push the remaining players into the abyss, or ColourMaster, where one person decides on the rest of the challenges ahead. Each type of gameplay emphasizes multiplayer fun, although the title also offers the possibility of playing alone.

Runbow on PS4, PC, etc. has been framed in simple, yet aesthetic graphics - the style referring to the characteristic Saul Bass line is full of contrasting colors and sharp contours, but it fits perfectly with the idea of the creators. In combination with dynamic graphic design, the production offers a lot of potential fun in a larger group.
