A tactical turn-based strategy game set during World War II; it was developed by Cat Rabbit studio, supported by the Slitherine company. Interestingly, the game is a virtual adaptation of a popular board game which came out in 2014. The game is set just after the D-Day, when the Allies landed in Normandy. Three playable armies are at the player's disposal - the Americans, the British and the Germans.
Might & Magic: Heroes VII

The seventh installment of one of the most popular turn-based fantasy strategy series dating back to 1995. It was created by the German studio Limbic Entertainment, whose portfolio includes the previous installment in the Heroes of Might & Magic series and Might & Magic X: Legacy. The story takes us to an empire torn by a civil war, in which young Prince Ivan created the Shadow Council composed of representatives from six different factions.

This title is produced by a new developer, Gaming Minds Studios, who also created the fourth installment of the Patrician series and similar Rise of Venice. In accordance with the add-on’s title, the biggest innovation it introduces is a dynamic day and night cycle. More importantly, this is not just a cosmetic feature, because at night your citizens engage in entirely different activities, and the traffic is reduced.

The game is developed by Hammerfall Publishing from Australia. The name refers to the board game described in the Warhammer novels. Gameplay features a modified version of classic chess and offers two game modes.

Company of Heroes 2: The British Forces

As in the case of the Western Front Armies add-on, developers focused mainly on the multiplayer mode and added British Armed Forces to network game. The add-on titled Shadows introduces new playable faction, known as The Forgotten, which specializes at espionage – the second most important novelty of this DLC. Players are given new possibilities, like gathering data about our opponent, infiltrating enemy’s structures or sending assassins to eliminate certain characters. Espionage isn’t limited to The Forgotten – all factions have access to it to some degree.

Funded partially by a Kickstarter campaign, Armello is a game by independent Australian artists and developers from League of Geeks studio. Armello is set in a fairytale-like fantasy world populated by anthropomorphic animals. There are four clans striving to take away the power from the corrupted king. Gameplay centers on exploration, accomplishing missions, and combat.

The Walking Dead: No Man's Land takes us to a post-apocalyptic world overrun by the living dead, while the production’s plot is strictly connected to the TV series. Gameplay-wise, it is a classic turn-based strategy game. While playing, we command a small group of humans who fight hordes of hungry zombies.

A World War II themed mobile strategy game developed by Picneko Creative, a Korean studio focusing on mobile game. Pocket Platoons allows the player to choose either Axis or Allies and participate in the largest military conflict of 20th century. The gameplay foundations do not differ much from what the genre has accustomed us to – we are tasked with base development, training and upgrading units, as well as recruiting officers, who can change the outcome of numerous battles.
