Plague Inc: Evolved Description
Plague Inc.: Evolved is a conversion of a iOS and Android-based game, Plague Inc., and an unusual strategy game, in which we create our own virus and develop a strategy to spread it to people of as many areas as possible before the authorities react. Similarly to its mobile predecessors, the port has been developed by Ndemic Creations studio.
It should be remembered that Plague Inc.: Evolved for PC and XONE is much more complex than the original mobile game. Starting from the fact that gameplay offers additional options (like expanded statistics about our virus' spread) and ending with a generated replay, which we can watch after a session to learn from our mistakes. Furthermore, Evolved contains all of the content that has been released on tablets and smartphones after the game's release (like additional mutations of a virus).
Technology
More novelties are connected to the technical aspects of the game, especially visuals. First of all, camera feedback from towns has been implemented (showing how the population struggles against the plague), as well as scans of human body, showing mutations caused by the virus as well as three-dimensional models of the latter.
Multiplayer
The greatest novelty in Plague Inc. for PC and XONE is the addition of multiplayer modes: cooperation (in which the players work together to increase the impact of an outbreak) and competition (participants compete with each other to see who can destroy the human population first). A built-in editor is also worth mentioning, as it allows us to create not only new viruses, but also whole worlds, which can be then sentenced to doom.
