Second expansion to the 2014’s turn-based 4X strategy game from Amplitude studio. The add-on titled Shadows introduces new playable faction, known as The Forgotten, which specializes at espionage – the second most important novelty of this DLC. Players are given new possibilities, like gathering data about our opponent, infiltrating enemy’s structures or sending assassins to eliminate certain characters.

Endless Legend: Shadows is the second major expansion for a 4X turn-based strategy game, Endless Legends for PC. The add-on requires the basic version of Endless Legends in order to work. Both productions were created by Amplitude Studios.

The biggest attraction of Endless Legend: Shadows is the introduction of a new playable faction called the Forgotten. This group specializes in using espionage, which is the second most important novelty of this DLC. Of course, other parties are also able to use this element to gather information, infiltrate enemy ranks or send killers to silently eliminate specific characters.

Officially, espionage is no glorious thing, especially the kind that is driven by supernatural abilities, it is why the Forgotten were cast out into another world and forgotten by most mortals. Even a small group of people remembering about their existence were convinced that Forgotten were extinct. In reality, the Forgotten survived, and their entire civilization is now driven by thirst for revenge. This is the reason why their return is shaking the situation in the whole land, drastically influencing the balance of power.

The units of the Forgotten have access to a number of useful abilities, such as camouflage and sneaking, which come in handy not only in combat, but also during infiltration or sabotage. Moreover, the faction is able to counter the espionage techniques of its enemies.
