Mars Tomorrow is a browser strategy game developed by Gamefabrik. The player's task is to adapt Mars for colonization by mankind and to lead one of the first colonies on the planet.

Plot

In the world of Mars Tomorrow, mankind decides to colonize Mars. For this purpose, pioneers were sent to the Red Planet - people who will create a viable colony from scratch. The player takes on the role of one of these precursors.

Mechanics

The mechanics in Mars Tomorrow are not very different from other representatives of economic strategies. The players start their adventure by collecting raw materials that will enable them to build a colony. At the start they must also provide adequate supplies of oxygen, water and food for the first colonists.

Then, we can proceed with the expansion of the colony. A whole range of buildings has been put at the player's disposal, which will enable them to survive on Mars. Over time, the settlement will grow and the landscape will look more and more like an earthly one. Not all raw materials necessary for survival, however, can be produced or found on the planet. This means that a stable economic system needs to be developed which will allow for import of resources.

Game modes

The game is dedicated to multiplayer gameplay. Although the player develops their own colony, they create a guild with other users. The game is divided into 8 phases, each of which lasts 10 days. Each of them influences the conditions on the planet. When the cycle is finished, it starts anew.

In addition, a ranking is maintained. Terra Points are awarded for each action in the game. At the end of each week the player with the most points receives a prize.
