How to achieve perfect chemistry in FUT 20, FIFA 20 Ultimate Team? FIFA 20 guide, tips
Last update: 03 January 2020
Each Player should strive to build a well-knit and thriving club in FUT 20 mode. Unfortunately, this is not that easy - you need to select your first eleven from a choice of 17,000 players. When creating a gold team, there are many issues that have to be taken into account, such as the nationality and the chemistry level of the players. This section of the FIFA 20 guide will help you create a well-knit, prosperous team.
FUT 20 gives the Player the opportunity to create a team in which there are players belonging to different clubs and nationalities. Unfortunately, too much diversity can negatively affect the teamwork, and therefore the results they get. In this regard, chemistry is an extremely important issue in the process of building a team. For best results on the pitch, the player must have a maximum level of chemistry (10 points). The score depends on the connections between the athletes and the positions they play. After reading this chapter, you will learn how to create a team with the highest level of compatibility.
- Place the player on a correct position
- Connections between players
- Manager's role in the team
- Why is teamwork so important?
Place the player on a correct position
The basic step to give the player full chemistry is placing him in a correct position - a defender should be a defender and midfielder a midfielder. Information about the position of the player can be viewed on his card, just under the overall rating. There are 17 positions available in FIFA 20: goalkeeper, right/left defender, right/left wing-back, Central defender, Central midfielder, defensive, Central midfielder, Central attacking midfielder, left/right midfielder, left/right striker, Central striker, left/right striker, striker. Of course, different formations offer different positions for players. For example, in one team the attack is carried by strikers only, while in other central striker and wingers. It is therefore very important to choose the right formation for the available players.
A player who has the required connections with the rest of the squad will have 10 chemistry only when placed in his designated position. If you place him in a position close to the one assigned by the card, he will get 9 chemistry points.
Connections between players
In any squad, regardless of the formation, players' positions are linked between themselves. Connections between the players are indicated by red, orange or green lines. If you want to achieve full chemistry, you need to connect the player with the players he understands. A player receives points from another player if:
- they play in the same League but are of different club and different nationality - 1 point.
- they play in a different League, but they are of the same nationality - 1 point.
- they play in the same League, in another club, but they are of the same nationality - 2 points.
- they play in the same club, but are of different nationality - 2 points.
- they play in the same club, there are of the same nationality - 3 points.
If the player does not understand the other player, the line between them will be red. When players have 1 chemistry point, the line will be orange. With 2 or 3 chemistry points, the connection between the players will be green.
Manager's role in the team
The manager is a very important figure in any club created in FUT 20 mode. Managers can add chemistry points to players and extend their contracts. Each Manager has a specific nationality and the League in which he works - this can be quickly and easily changed using the League change card. What is very important, Managers add 1 chemistry point to each athlete from the same League or the same nationality. Thanks to this solution, you can get a full team teamwork rating even when, for example, two players from the team have a red connection.
Why is teamwork so important?
When the teamwork is exactly 50 points, the players will have exactly the same statistics as on the cards. Every points below the 50-point limit reduce their skills by a certain value, and at zero teamwork, all stats will be reduced by as much as 25 points. Each point above the 50 limit increases selected abilities by 0, 10, and even 15 points depending on the player. The maximum value is 99.
