Pesticides - are they worth it?

Pesticides in Farm Expert 2017 are an important issues - of course, using chemical components to prevent the development of fungi, insects or weeds doesn't have to be a good idea in case of every single crop you raise. They're not necessary in case of grass and lupine - the harvest will be smaller, but you will reduce the costs by eliminating the need to buy pesticides and then spray them yourself or with a plane.

On the other hand, when cultivating cereals and glasshouse plants, chemical protection agents may prove invaluable for the volume and quality of the harvest. The output can decrease significantly - even by 40%, which in case of pepper, cucumbers or tomatoes can mean losing as much as 200,000 euro.

So, then, should you buy your own sprayer or just hire a worker? At the beginning, you shouldn't invest in a sprayer - it can be bought for glasshouses, though. Only when you're cultivating a couple of fields at once should you consider buying your own, efficient sprayer.
