Buying a field Farm Expert 2017 Guide
Last update: 16 September 2016
Buying a field is one of the key investments when it comes to the growth of your household - ultimately, they are the bread and butter of Farm Expert 2017 gameplay. There are about 20 to 25 fields on each map, with your character controlling only few at the beginning. We can choose from three classes of fields:
- Class C - The soil of lowest calorie value, by far giving the smallest return when it comes to earth crops and grains. These types of soil should be transformed to orchards - in this case, the soil is not of much importance as with grains, potatoes, or beets. Price: 10 000 for 1 ha.
- Class B - Average soil. Compared with the A class, the harvest of earth crops is lower by about 10 to 15%. Price: 12 000 for 1 ha.
- Class A - A soil of very high calorie value, most resistant to outside factors, and guaranteeing a bigger harvest. Price: 14 000 for 1 ha.
As you can see, investing in higher quality fields is a much better idea - by comparison, they aren't that expensive, and it is an investment for years. The purpose of the field should also be taken under advisement - orchards can be created even from the cheapest lands.
