Approximating how long it takes to beat a game like F1 22 isn't possible, but we can explain how much time you should need to complete the career mode and unlock the platinum trophy. The in-game activities come with milestones or final achievements you can try to obtain.
- The number of hours you need to complete a single career season should reach double digits. The season, by default, consists of 22 Grand Prix, each of which includes 5 different races (three practice races, qualifications, the main race, optionally a sprint replacing one of the practice races). You may also have to deal with activities between the races, such as conducting research, planning calendar events and expanding team facilities.
- How long your career will take depends on how long you choose the sessions to be. For example, each main race can take you from 5 laps (around 7-8 minutes) to the actual real-life distance (around 90-120 minutes). You can also skip some races, though this may result in less research points or a weaker starting positions.
- Other game modes can also take you some time. The multiplayer modes, which pit you against a single other player or many different players, can be especially time-consuming. The most professional players usually are eager to join longer races. You can also spend time on completing supercar challenges or beating records during time trials.
- You should be able to unlock the platinum trophy in around 30-40 hours without many difficulties. The assist settings, lowering the AI's skill level and shortening the races during the career mode can make unlocking it easier. The game features only trophies, but most of them don't require much skill - for example, they demand you to participate in a specific number of multiplayer races.
