Before you start playing F1 22, you can check out and edit the accessibility options for people with disabilities. This page of the guide covers all of these elements and provides an explanation of how they affect the game and which players they can most benefit.
You'll find all these settings in the Accessibility menu. The most important ones are:
- Subtitles - You can choose to display them and select their language.
- Voice Chat - You can edit its volume or turn it off completely. It concerns communication with other players in multiplayer modes.
- Mono Mix - You can turn it on or off and set its balance (the default is 0 - the middle value).
- Colourblind Mode - This changes the color of the dynamic racing line displayed on the screen, which helps in identifying the track and recognizing braking points.
- Convert Voice / Chat Text - These are 2 separate settings. You have the option of converting the voice to text or having the text read aloud. There is also an option to select between a male and female speaker.
- Chat Text Size - The default is the normal text size, but you can make it larger or smaller.
- Multiplayer Lobby Voice Guide - This is disabled by default.
